Mock system design interviews,
run by your own AI agent

Draw the System is a hosted interview workspace. Connect the Claude subscription you already have — it plays a demanding senior/staff-level interviewer: asking, listening, reading your diagram, and grading you against a real rubric.

How it works

Step 1

Get a 30-day pass

One flat price, one-time payment — no auto-renew unless you ask for it. No token markup — ever.

Step 2

Connect your agent

Point Claude (or any MCP client) at the interview server and authorize it with a one-time code.

Step 3

Get interviewed

Your agent runs a real 45-minute loop: scenario, probing questions, a live canvas, then a rubric-graded debrief.

Bring-your-own-agent means your agent subscription does the thinking — we never resell tokens, so the price stays flat.

Built like a real loop

A canvas your interviewer can read

Draw your architecture in Excalidraw; the agent reads a structural digest of it — components, edges, dangling arrows — and pushes back like a person at the whiteboard.

Real interview pressure

A server-side clock, spoken questions, and a voice loop. Answer out loud or type — your call.

Graded like the real thing

Ten rubric dimensions with 1/3/5 anchors, a written debrief, a reference solution diagram, and progress tracked across sessions.

Company-style loops

Point a session at a company profile from the catalogue and the brief takes on that domain and its constraints. Or run generic — the rubric is identical.

Prefer local-first?

The interview skills, rubric, and diagram tools are open source (MIT) and run entirely on your machine with Claude Code — no account needed. The cloud version adds the hosted workspace, voice loop, storage, and the remote MCP server.
